This post is sponsored by Eid Party

The blessed month – Ramadan 2020 is almost upon us. This Ramadan will be very special to me because it will be my first Ramadan after 6 years of marriage when I’ll be fasting regularly in shaa Allah because of no pregnancy or nursing. You may also be preparing for Ramadan (and even Eid) already – buying gifts, organizing your home, planning etc. because you’d like to spend the blessed month collecting the barakah of it. So whatever you need for Ramadan or Eid, you can check Eid Party – a one-stop shop for Ramadan and Eid. Since I’m working on their dua calendar this year, here are some ideas to start with before we jump onto the duas.

A dua a day‘ Ramadan Calendar:

Whichever Ramadan Calendar you’ll use (I love their ‘A Good Deed A Day’ Ramadan Calendar as well), here are some ideas (mainly for kids) on what you can put inside the pockets:

  1. DatesSweetsNuts (Personally, I allow kids artificial sweets only once a week, but I know Ramadan is different and hence it’s ok to let it go sometimes. You may also have a mix of both – one day date, one day candy/chocolate and so on…).
  2. Seeds to plant (basil, chili, mint, cilantro, chives, rosemary, spinach, mushrooms, lettuce etc. – if a plant sprouts by the end of Ramadan, perhaps you can use its fruits on Eid and feel the blessings of Ramadan “literally” shower on you).
  3. Stickers
  4. Balloons
  5. Coins (for sadaqah (charity) or as an eidi that is increased day by day, leading upto Eid).
  6. Mini toys – Peg dolls, finger puppets, toy cars, bouncy balls, marbles, mini figurines (animals, bugs etc.) – Eid Party makes things easy for you by providing the toys with the calendar.
  7. Play-dough (small tins)
  8. Hair accessories
  9. Flashcards (of duas, ahadith, Quranic verses, activities, questions etc.)
  10. Puzzle pieces
  11. Blocks/Legos
  12. Mini art and Craft supplies (beads, buttons, pompoms, sequins etc.)
  13. Stamps / art punches
  14. Pin badges (I remember me and my sister used to collect so many of these as teenagers)
  15. Magnets
  16. Personal notes (of duas, gratitude, love, affirmations, compliments etc.) – you can even draw doodles only (my kids love it when I draw something for them).
  17. English/Arabic letters – if you’ve been wanting to revise alphabets with your child, this may be the month to get your crafting on (for each letter).
  18. Essential oil bottles (if you want to treat yourself)
  19. Jewelry/beauty products (bracelet, earrings, rings, hand sanitizer, nail polish, sample-sized beauty products etc.)
  20. All of the above (mix them all up).

A dua a day‘ Ramadan Calendar:

Following is the list of authentic Quranic and Masnoon duas that I compiled for myself based on the *A DUA A DAY* Ramadan calendar by Eid Party because I want to focus on DUAS to really benefit from the barakah of this month. I pray that these free DUA CARDS help you too. I have deliberately put the Arabic and English (translation) side by side so you can understand and pick a bit of Arabic language’s beauty along the way in shaa Allah. You can download the cards for free (in colour or black/white – both options are available). All the reference links are embedded in the Arabic text. Please come back to this article every day to read the whole hadith or verse, when you are memorizing the dua of the day (or just reciting it throughout the day). If you benefit from this freebie bundle, please make dua for us (AYEINA and Eid Party – who helped us bring this post to life):

“O Allah, make my soul obedient and purify it, for You are the best One to purify it, You are its Guardian and Lord.” [Hadith; Nasa’i 5458]

Ya Allah!
Your words and the words of Your beloved Prophet ﷺ are my best guide so I will leave the rest of my worries, that I can’t completely put into words, to You – because You, my Lord, is the best carrier of the weight that my weak shoulders can not bear.
My heart tears wide
My hands spread wider
Because I want to collect
All the blessings You shower.

Ya Allah!
Accept all our duas and help us experience the best Ramadan!
Aameen

  1. JazakAllah Khair for sharing. I usually put in a good deed for the day or some information about ramadan in our calendars…might give the dua a day a try this year!

  2. Lovely duas and I love how they are organised on the cards. It’s a great positive reinforcement for kids.
I’ll certainly pray for you all because you do an amazing job SubhanAllah. So thankful to know there are people like you sharing the blessings and joy of our Deen 🙂

  3. Jazak Allah Khair, I found these cards yesterday and today I was able to download them , Alhumdollilah. It did require me adding my billing address though. Not sure what that will be used for since these dua cards were free. Plesae let me know. <3

    • Alhamdulillah. Sis this was just the software requirement – since it’s a big file, it has to be uploaded in the products section and the woocommerce (a plugin that handles all the orders – sending people their freebies or paid products etc. automatically) demands these things. We don’t have much control over it. We had around 10k downloads of this freebie so we can’t virtally misuse the addresses anyway :p Jokes apart, may we never take the rights of any other Muslim as their honour is our honour. Can’t wait to see how you utilize them in shaa Allah 🙂 May you have a blessed Ramadan!

  4. Asalamoalaikum wa rehmatullahe wa barakatahum, beautiful set of duas, may Allah subhanataala increase you in barakah Ameen… you’re a source of inspiration as young mom’s MashaAllah. Will be using these duas for my kids this Ramadan. Jazakumallah khair ❣

    • walaikum assalam wa rehmatullahe wa barakatahu. aameen <3 Jazakillah khairan katheera for your kind words. May Allah make us better than what you think of us. Can't wait to see how you utilize them in shaa Allah 🙂 May you have a blessed Ramadan!

    • Have you tried downloading them sis by adding to cart? Because the one I will send will be a temporary link and will only work for a specific time period. So please do try it. If you are unable to figure it out, then I hope the temporary link helps.

  5. Very well written blog on the third pillar of Islam. Today, I have found a very informative blog written on the 11 pillars of Islam and Iman that can be very helpful for young mothers seeking Islamic teachings.

  6. Asa i have also tried to download it but it is not possible. Should i add it to cart? i tried but it said there were 16 duas instead of 30 please help me

    • walaikum assalam. Yes sis, please add to the cart and checkout. The pdf is divided into several pages so please check the other pages for other duas (30 in total).

    • I’m sorry sis – can you please point out which dua are you talking about? Dua # 9 with “gratitude” heading? or Dua # 15 with “righteousness” heading? So I can fix accordingly if there is any mistake. Jazakillah khairan katheera for taking the time out to help us improve <3
