Alhamdulillah is a phrase Muslims use to show praise and gratitude for their Creator – Creator of everything and everyone. This contest is based around #AlhamdulillahForSeries which is a series inspired by the following verse of the Qur’an, where Allah says:

”If you are grateful, I will surely increase you…” [Qur’an 14:7]
The idea behind this series is from THIS GRATITUDE JOURNAL which encourages us to welcome abundance in our lives through the power of gratitude. 

This year again, we ran a #MuslimsCollab campaign to not only manage sponsorships effectively, but also to encourage different Muslim businesses to collaborate with each other and rise by lifting each other up. (Each year we will be opening only 12 slots for better manageability and exposure for Muslim brands). 

So, how do you sprinkle some positive vibes around? By entering the following contest! 😀

Gratitude ART Contest

Entry period starts from 25th July 2018 and ends on 1st August 2018

(2 winners from adult category and 2 winners from kids category + 1 honorable mention prize in each category).

Simple Steps to Enter:

The contest is not endorsed by any social media channel (IG, FB, Twitter etc.) – The art contest will go through two rounds as well:

1: Post YOUR or/and your CHILD’s artwork on social media
(old or new – whatever you or they will say “Alhamdulillah” for) on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. Mention the age of the child when you post the art submission. The profile on which you post must be public so we can see all the entries under its unique hashtag #GratitudeArtContest

(You may use any medium of art and craft – it should simply signify positivity and gratitude)

2: Hashtag it:
#AlhamdulillahForSeries and #GratitudeArtContest

(so it’s easier to track which artwork is a contest entry. Do not email, DM or PM (Direct/Private Message) your entry – it won’t be accepted. The artwork should be posted AFTER july 25 (even if it’s an old art piece – if you hashtag your old posts then they may get lost in previous year’s entries).

3: FOLLOW @ayeina_official and tag atleast 3 friends to spread some positive vibes ❤

Comment what are you grateful for – Something that few people think of when they talk about being grateful – or something that few people associate with Allah (thanking Him) when they are happy or feel blessed. Instead of saying “Alhamdulillah for everything” – think of something specific (look at THIS FACEBOOK ALBUM for ideas). The more the specific, the more the chances of winning (based on uniqueness and creativity) in shaa Allah. 

2: Hashtag it:

Winners will also receive a certificate of excellence/ appreciation that they agree to post on social media and tag AYEINA 💜 Each participant should stay tuned with Ayeina’s social media channels and email inboxes (or spam folders) for contest updates. The winner will be emailed/sent private or direct message through the social media channel they entered. If they don’t respond within 24 hours, their prize will be given to the next winner in line.

Other Details:

▪This competition is open to everyone around the world regardless of race, religion or nationality. Although the phrase “Alhamdulillah” is mostly used by Muslims but non-Muslims are most welcome to enter as well (as they have done so in the past contests). 

▪Multiple caption and art entries are allowed as long as they are in a different comment/post each time (respectively), but one cannot win more than one prize bundle, (multiple submissions just raise the probability of winning).

▪Open for 13 years and above only (those who have access to social media). The parents of children under 13 should enter their childs’ caption through the website only while the parents of children under 13 should enter the artwork by kids on social media along with their age  and the required hashtags (they don’t have to mention names publicly).

▪These entries may be used in Ayeina’s social media content with credit given to the original entrant.

▪By participating, you agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these terms and conditions.

▪Please do not submit obscene and racially, religiously or sexually offensive captions or artworks.

▪Portraits or artwork with complete facial features are not allowed (You can check our Facebook album to get a better idea of how we do it).
