LESSON #20:

Chapter 2: Verse  142-152

Think and imagine. How does it feel to receive gifts every day at your doorstep? Exactly the ones you need and the ones you’ve been making dua for. or just imagine something as simple as a flower a day. Maybe just twice a week or even once. Tell me how would it feel? Special, right? You’d wait for the doorbell to ring every single day.

Now imagine you don’t know the name of the sender. Where are they coming from? And what if you get to know the name of the sender? But you want to know more and more about your loving sender. You mention this story to whoever you meet. You just can’t stop thinking and talking about it. You’re in awe.
Now add to it that your sender is not just sending gifts every single day but He has also assigned guards for you to protect you all the time. From every harm, be it physical, intellectual, emotional or spiritual. You know them but they stay under cover – not interrupting your mobility or privacy.
He has assigned His servants to write your biography, all of it, word by word. They stay alert and never miss a thing.
Is your admirer some royal King who’s showering endless precious favours upon you? Just for you?

How would you react? Don’t you want to know every bit of Him? Ask people and talk about Him? Praise Him everywhere you go? Wouldn’t your heart always melt with love?
Now imagine He’s also sending you invitations to come to His dominion, to an excessively beautiful dreamland. He wants you to see Him and for that, He has sent you a compass to guide you straight to Him without any ambiguous routes. He has made the compass detailed and descriptive.

Don’t you think you would die out of love if someone does that for you? The King is in love with you after all and proves it in every possible manner known and unknown to you. He’s concerned about every breath, step and decision you take in your life.
Now listen to the verse….

Who is talking here? That King of yours – who is way more than the King you were imagining. He’s telling you that He remembers you. Can you imagine? Out of all the people in the world, He. Remembers. YOU. The Lord of the universe. One who made the earth, the skies, the heaven and YOU.
He who showers you with His blessings and infinite gifts. Someone you can just ask from and have your wishes fulfilled. Someone who has His guidebook (Qur’an) all ready for you to guide you to His Jannah and stay there forever…
Someone so Almighty yet you don’t need to ask Him for attention as He has all His time for you… Just remember Him and He will not only listen, He will remember you!

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “My Lord says, ‘If My slave comes nearer to me for a span, I go nearer to him for a cubit; and if he comes nearer to Me for a cubit, I go nearer to him for the span of outstretched arms; and if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.’ ” [Bukhari]

So what else will you be other than a grateful servant!

  1. If you mention Allah in a gathering he mentions you in an even better gathering i.e: angels SubhanAllah
What can be better than being famous in the heavens 😀
